Keeping the Flame Alive

In our work in branding, and throughout our all of our lives, the tendency as we become older is to lose some of the essential spark—the mad ambition for grand ideas that fueled the dreams that led us to our creative careers.

On this anniversary of my 51st trip around the sun, I want to encourage all of us to be mindful of this tendency, and to guard against it with the hope that in all we do, we continue to nurture the flame of our highest ideals and aspirations—through thick and thin—to give them the chance to ignite the bon fire of our most profound potential to move ourselves and humanity forward with beauty and inspiration.
